This week is mostly from a visit to Enchanted Rock State Park which is a granite monolith similar to Stone Mountain in GA albeit slightly smaller. First up a sense of scale: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/don_dory_gmail_com/Monday+Misc/human+scale+red+monolith.jpg.html Next a window in how steep parts of it are: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/don_dory_gmail_com/Monday+Misc/too+steep+to+stand+up.jpg.html Some people push on and others take a break from the sun: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/don_dory_gmail_com/Monday+Misc/out+of+the+TX+sun.jpg.html Others get a ride: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/don_dory_gmail_com/Monday+Misc/catching+a+ride.jpg.html About halfway up you have a great view of the surroundings: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/don_dory_gmail_com/Monday+Misc/enjoying+the+view.jpg.html Last for today we have some indication of why raising children is an interesting experience: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/don_dory_gmail_com/Monday+Misc/three+children+three+directions.jpg.html All the best. -- Don don.dory at gmail.com
