Every time they seem to be getting ahead another hurricane wipes everything out again. The cities are full of drug gangs and crime and the countryside is so poor that it's almost impossible to make a living so many young people end up in the cities anyway. In spite of all of their problems. the people of Honduras are some of the friendliest and most welcoming of any I have photographed. It is still one of my favorite countries in the world.
