In Philadelphia the crowds have been growing, mainly because it's the one spot where consumers can sit in many different kinds of cars and get the feel of the interior, sight lines, conveniences, etc. If I can sit in a Hyundai Sonata and it's more comfortable than a Toyota Camry, then I'll skip Toyota and go right to a Hyundai dealer. Auto dealers love it because they get to talk to potential buyers. People go there mainly for the tactile experience because, as you noted, the tech information and drive reports are all online. -----Original Message----- From: LUG On Behalf Of Philippe via LUG Sent: Friday, November 27, 2020 2:32 PM To: Leica Users Group <lug at leica-users.org> Cc: Philippe <photo.philippe.amard at gmail.com> Subject: Re: [Leica] photokina is no more Well, times are changing - the internet, the I-Phone, etc. Who would like to make it to a car show when they?re all the same, and have already been advertised the world over ? This being said, some people might miss the Donners/waffles/burgers/Bretzels or Bier here oder I fall um there ? I do not.
