As for Don's comment, these sort of changes that drive the primary economy happen in cycles. Agriculture replaced the hunter-gatherer's nomadic way of life. Mechanisation and industry displaced agriculture. Conglomerates and size of manufacturing, led by the assembly line, displaced the small scale industry. Now, tech and services are displacing manufacturing as the engine of growth. At the cusp of every seismic economic shift, those who do not see, and will not adapt, to the imminent change get decimated (Kodak, for example, and by extension, stock photographers). Equally, a new order emerges who do exceedingly well, which is an effect that many fail to see. :-) Cheers Jayanand On Fri, Nov 6, 2020 at 5:53 AM CartersXRd via LUG <lug at leica-users.org> wrote: > https://2020.cartersxrd.net/CX2020/2020.11.03.html > > A visit to Pamlico Beach, at the mouth of the Pungo River.
