Since I had to be out for a medical appointment, I stopped by the
airport to check on the folks that run it.? They told me that there was
a new medevac helicopter at the LifeFlight hanger, and I could see it
out front.?? I saw one of the guys carrying half the engine cowl back to
the aircraft, and watched him climb up and reinstall the cowl.? What I
concluded is that "checking under the hood" on one of these machines is
not a walk in the park.

This machine comes with a shrouded tail rotor, which is not only safer
for the rotor and nearby personnel, but is also a work of art.
