In the days of Tri-X you needed to use the whole frame. With the sensors today and the software able to uprez a file new freedoms await us all. We just need to spend on better and better lenses. Someone is getting ready for this. Back maybe a year ago the Lensrental Blog talked about testing lenses at over 200 lp/mm when the high standard today is around 50. Lenses that were excellent at 50 barely made the cut at 225 lp. Planning ahead is a wonderful thing if you aren't footing the bill.
