The Nikon Z7 is a fantastic piece of equipment, no regrets on buying it! The kit lens is a bargain for the price you get it for as a part of the kit, and I can carry the combo the whole day long, on a wrist strap, without tiring. According to Alastair Firkin, who uses M lenses frequently on the Z7, it is the best body to mount Leica M lenses on as well, because focus peaking makes using them wide open relatively easy, easier than focusing with a rangefinder, at any rate. I am sure an appropriate Sony would be equally good.
