Ouch !

Are you suggesting that the many flecks on the sensor are the result of the 
plunge? 

I wonder how the electronics inside will cope with this in the long term.

Is the camera bound for Wetzlar now?

OTT and on a lighter note, you could either patent the camouflage as the new 
Safari version of a Leica S, or sell Leica the pictures for their adverts, 
stating the camera was still functional, or both, which might cover the 
costs ?
