[Leica] One way to justify a M10R

Frank, amplifying on your comments:  I believe that you have to experience
the combination of a great lens and a high resolution sensor to truly
appreciate what the new sensors can do for you.

With the resolution available on some cameras up into the 60mp range and a
state of the st lens I can walk around with a 14mm and a 135mm lens and be
good for an effective kit for almost any situation except birds and some
sports.   Yes, there is a gap from 60ish to 135 but effectively I am not
missing anything.

The downside is that the newer lenses are pretty stout in size and weight.
 However this is a case of taking money for weight.   We're can spend
upwards of 6000 each for APO Summicrons that are relatively pettitt or 2000
dollar equivalents for best in class Japanese glass but have something the
many times larger and heavier.

On a similar vein, the autofocus systems on the mirrorless cameras like the
SL2 or Brian's camera is so good that to obtain equal quality of focus
takes quite a while manually.   I am trying to decide whether to keep a
complete set of M Summiluxes and acquire a new M10 or sell them off and
complete the mirrorless suite.   The M is a tool of beauty for capturing
true candids but age is taking a toll in speed of focus and accuracy.
