The camera should have a body cap on. If not, use plastic bag parts and
scotch tape to prevent the rice from entering.
If you have a hair dryer, spend time to heat things up but be careful. The
glass cover plate over the sensor is only glued on with rubber cement and
WILL come loose if too much heat is applied. After that put in bag with
rice. It will nit hurt and may save the camera from major repair.

Oh, and a prayer would not hurt.
