For waiting quietly under the camo net I?m using a small very portable tripod near ground level (the camp chair places my butt a couple of inches off the ground) and an acratech long lens head. For flight photos I use a big standing-height tripod with the same head, or with a sidekick added to the head. The in-flight photos are here, beginning in November 2019: http://www.wildlightphoto.com/birds/anatidae/anser/ansros.html <http://www.wildlightphoto.com/birds/anatidae/anser/ansros.html> http://www.wildlightphoto.com/birds/anatidae/spatula/spacly.html <http://www.wildlightphoto.com/birds/anatidae/spatula/spacly.html> http://www.wildlightphoto.com/birds/anatidae/anas/anaacu.html <http://www.wildlightphoto.com/birds/anatidae/anas/anaacu.html> Doug Herr Birdman of Sacramento http://www.wildlightphoto.com <http://www.wildlightphoto.com/> > On Jan 27, 2020, at 7:37 AM, Don Dory via LUG <lug at leica-users.org> > wrote: > > Your images don't require comments as they stand with any of the best bird > photographers extant.
