Jim,

On top of my Spotmatic F, I had an ESII which was probably the last 42mm 
issued before the K series. It had the 42mm thread, but was not a Spotmatic 
;-)

Some of the lenses were great!  I miss my younger years more than the 42mm 
thread though :-)
