Hi Jim,
My goodness smashing images to say the least!
THE GOLDENROD is amazingly beautiful. The others are so perfect looking they
make me want to get in the Garden and ty some bug photos, before the winter
sets in!!!

Today's insect is an adult Goldenrod Soldier Beetle, named for the wing 
appearance which resembles the coats of the soldiers of the 1600-1700 
period.
