I do not see how a rangefinder particularly helps with a "focus and recompose" technique - any camera can do that - in modern DSLRs/mirrorless bodies you just use back button focus, and you are all set! Neither does it particularly score on hyperfocal techniques - many Fuji lenses have the scales marked out, and anyway, a small 2"x3" card in your pocket is all that is required, anyway. The Leica body's real advantage is in its ability to natively use the superlative Leica lenses.
