I find it hard to believe that when I was s little boy seventy years ago we lived in Terre Haute, Indiana, and my grand parents lived in New York. On Long Island. My parents would take us on one of these planes to visit our grand parents in New York. Found memories. Must have damaged my brain because to this day my two favorite airplanes are Piper cubs and DC3s. Sometimes we would take the train. I used to live that, too. I am lucky to have these memories.
