Think of Nette v Blurred. And Piqu?e v Out of focus or Soft. Of course the blur can result from motion of the subject, or from camera shake. Piqu?e is mostly linked with the gear, think of resolution, definition, flare, etc. Sharpness in his mind was limited to the former. Would he have used a Leica had it been the latter? And he was himself a neat sharp bourgeois in motion ;-) Amities Philippe > Le 25 avr. 2019 ? 22:28, Lluis Ripoll via LUG <lug at leica-users.org> a > ?crit : > > Wonderful portrait Tina, remember HCB quote ?Sharpness is a bourgeis > concept!? > Lluis > > >> El 25 abr 2019, a les 18:38, Tina Manley via LUG <lug at leica-users.org> >> va escriure: >> >> PESO: >> >> The focus is on the scarf, not her eyes, but I kind of like the soft focus >> for the young girl.
