But starting at 50mp you will be about 21mp equivalent, not so far from your native 24 on your SL. The trick is to use one frame wider so you can previsualize ala an M and crop to what you visualized in the viewfinder. High pixel count sensors give a huge amount of freedom to see an image within the image without much constraint. All the best.
