I've been using a Pentax Takumar 200mm for a couple of weeks, and
decided that 200mm Autofocus would be handy, so I ordered a used Olympus
50-200 SWD lens, which arrived this morning from KEH. With a new feeder
and my tripod set behind clean window glass, I was watching the birds
checking out the feeder.? This Downy Woodpecker was caught with the
Takumar and manual focus.

The 50-200 arrived at my door, so I mounted it in the same spot and,
using Autofocus, caught this group at the breakfast bar.

I have to get a lot more experience with the new lens, but this
comparison did show me that the old Takumar is not too bad in its own right.
