One of the more interesting things I've found using my chair is how much more polite the young people are than I thought they were. They rush to open doors ahead of me, and when I'm loading my chair into the car I often get offers of help. I think of my powered chair as a freedom machine rather than a stage. ;-) It gets me to places I had not been able to go before.
