The topic, if I recall, was photoshop or lightroom on Linux. You clearly are not among ?most users? of Linux. I'm a daily professional user of Photoshop, my first copy was 2.5, the first Photoshop for Windows, and I ran it on a 486 in 1994. Over the years I looked for ways to do my work without using a powerhouse of a computer. One of the promising alternatives seemed to be Linux, but when I tried it, no software available could approach Photoshop, and the, the emulators could not run PS. Anyhow, twenty some years later, I still don't use Linux, except I'm pretty sure my internet provider does!
