Despite the presence of the exercisers on land, I'm surprised to see no one in the sea at this time of year. I found it lovely and warm in La Barceloneta and in Sitges when I went in last week. A major change hit me here when I went in for my daily swim on my return... Douglas Douglas Barry Monkstown, Co. Because Spain is in the wrong time zone, geographically speaking (Alicante is slightly west of the Greenwich meridian and yet we are on Central European Time), sunrise is at a fairly humane hour, around 7:30, at this time of year. On Tuesday morning I did just that, and I offer you three images from Playa Muchavista at dawn.
