However I personally think that this group should be for the users of Leica equipment. Know I fully accept that when I offered to leave the group in 2012 because I had switched to Fuji equipment I was invited to stay because my work was such that could be done on a Leica, and I was grateful of the opportunity to do so. However if I were coming new to the group as a Leica user and saw that a large majority of the discussion and work was on equipment that was not Leica, even to the extent that Hasselblad digital has been discussed here, I would question whether it was a ?Leica Users Group? or just a run of the mill photographic group. To answer your question, the ethos of Leica photography is using Leica equipment to capture the world, mainly in a documentary way. I value the friendships of people here such as Lluis and Ted amongst others, but I am now finding that most of the posts here have little or no interest to me, and there are so many other places that show work in what I consider the true ethos of Leica, that I have reluctantly decided to move on.
