Still in all, for a lens that was designed in the 60's, by hand, and with the use of adding machines and slide rules, the lens perform very well. Using a Sony A7 family and adapters, you get IBIS. Maybe the most important capability to have..... but with the caveat that IBIS must be told what FL lens is attached (Zoom = set it every time you use it) ... a bit of a pain in the behind..... I do not understand which lens this is..... 70 x 3 f3.5.... ?????? Heaven help me as I ask this.... What Angenieux lens did you have that performed so well? I believe I also had the Nikon G - not up to the Angie, but had AF so I used it :-) All gone, I want AF and Auto + stab if needed.
