My point is that all of the Develop tools in LR are now in PS, so (for me) I'm using one piece of software. I don't have any plugins outside of Focus Magic, but I usually use the PS sharpening tool for that. My dissatisfaction with Lightroom lies mainly with the inadequate spotting tool, as I'm often cleaning up scans of 50,70 or even 90-year-old negative scans. I don't use the LR cataloging feature, so PS works better for me. I've been using Photoshop at work and home since about 1995, the first Windows version. (I learned it on MAC) It was pretty slow back then, but it did some miracles. Still does.
