Douglas, The bears have a reputation of being quite aggressive if you run into them in the wild. The Indian Sloth Bear has a fearsome reputation in this regards, mainly because they have a highly developed sense of smell, and very poor eyesight, so they tend to attack first and think, if at all, later. Even tigers do their best to avoid them. Alan, the fact that you are always at ground level, in a vehicle, boat or (mainly) on your feet, looking up and photographing antics on the canopy,a hundred feet above you, lends itself very naturally to silhouettes! :-) Cheers Jayanand On Tue, May 1, 2018 at 8:46 AM, Alan Magayne-Roshak <amr3 at uwmalumni.com> wrote: > Jayanand, these are all fine, but the silhouette is unexpected, and takes > first place. > > -- > Alan > > Alan Magayne-Roshak, Senior Photographer > University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee Photo Services > (Retired) > UPAA Photographer of the Year 1978 > UPAA Master of the Profession 2014 > amr3 at uwm.edu > http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/Alan+Magayne-Roshak/ > > "All the technique in the world doesn't compensate > for an inability to notice.
