You could cut the cable and still have wifi, which in your case appears to be generated by the ISP?s router. It doesn?t sound like the boosters are giving you the full speed that a home wifi network should be capable of. I think you could get a simple standalone wifi router for your studio that would generate a separate network for computer-to-printer comms. It wouldn?t need to be connected to the internet at all. The Geek Squad could help; how close is Best Buy? Are you SURE you?re OK with an hour to see the whole print? Can?t tempt you with a promise of 10 minutes? ?howard > On Apr 22, 2018, at 11:07, Tina Manley via LUG <lug at leica-users.org> > wrote: > > They promise that if I pay $9 more a month, I will have faster internet > service. > > Tina > > On Sun, Apr 22, 2018 at 11:05 AM, James Handsfield <jhandsfield at att.net> > wrote: > >> Your ISP shouldn?t have anything to do with the speed of your home system. >> >> Jim Handsfield >> >>> On Apr 22, 2018, at 8:54 AM, Tina Manley via LUG <lug at leica-users.org> >> wrote: >>> >>> My wifi is very, very slow.
