It is the only one that anyone ever made, and it apparently worked very well (I haven?t used one but I know several LUG members owned and liked them). This one on Kickstarter is overly complex and huge. If someone made one like the Leica one that places the sensor directly in the film plane, it would be nice, but no one is going to. As you said, a modern D-SLR is cheaper, simpler, easier, and produces magnificent quality. -- Chris Crawford Fine Art Photography Fort Wayne, Indiana 260-437-8990 http://www.chriscrawfordphoto.com My portfolio http://www.facebook.com/pages/Christopher-Crawford/48229272798 Like My Work on Facebook On 3/9/18, 1:51 PM, "LUG on behalf of Frank Filippone" <lug-bounces+chris=chriscrawfordphoto.com at leica-users.org on behalf of red735i at verizon.net> wrote: >I do not understand why anyone with half a brain would spend their hard >earned $$$ to invest in the idea of, or, maybe be promised a discount at >purchase on a product that does not exist, may never exist, and may not >even >be in development without due diligence, from a non existent company. > >A Digital camera back for film cameras is an idea that has been around >since >the first digital sensors came out.
