Flash < 1/250 or use HSS appliance and discover a new world ;-)

The XT-2 can shoot with a flash at higher speeds it seems

As to the exact figure either chosen or displayed, I believe that even 
purely mechanical cameras have never been that accurate either ?

What I meant was pump the ISO up - the picture will remain clean up to a 
point, and colours are still manageable at 1600,  which leaves you a margin 
to relax about camera shake ;-)
