I probably will use a very heavily cropped image for Wednesday. At lower ISO's say under 800 with a very good lens you can crop maybe 75% and still have a good image for largish images. But, as I get a wee bit older the thought of 4.5 stops effective image stabilization avoids the use of a tripod for many images. I would like feedback as to using the ten frames a second for focus stacking without a tripod. Although a quad I7 processor may not be enough for 15 42MP images stacked. Maybe go make some coffee while the computer slaves away. However, if Leica ever returns my M9 then I would have the best of both with some thought as to what images are on the table for the day.
