With Leica Monochrom, Noctilux 3, wide open <https://www.flickr.com/photos/lluisripoll/14339139459/in/album-72157648957616801/> With Leica Monochrom, Summilux 50 V2, wide open <https://www.flickr.com/photos/lluisripoll/14525732505/in/album-72157648957616801/> As Don says it would be better see the images, what I?ve saw in the net it is coincident with what Frank says, in my opinion it is normal that a lens show some smoothnes at such apertures but the difference I?ve saw with a Noctilux is that this one give a better definition on the focus area and this give us a better separation and certain 3D effect. Concerning the Bokeh, in my opinion the one of the Noctilux and even the old Summilux are better, the 7 Artisans lens is like the Sonnetar a optical construction like the Sonnar.
