Certainly the Summilux version has sufficiently shallow dof to cater to most. Possibly a much better optical solution? I know that Nikon does a brisk business with their 105 f1.4: possibly large lens envy? It's not like you can't find excellent fast mid tele's in the M mount. On the other hand a better optical solution is always good to have in your tool belt. All the best.
