Thanks for looking. That cub must be 16-17 months old - they can leave
their mother any time after they are 20 months old, so they are really
juveniles, I suppose. In fact we actually travel only on an open jeep, with
no sides and roof, like these:

As I keep saying, big cats are far more trustworthy and dependable in their
behaviour patterns than humans, so we should really be careful only when we
are in the urban jungle!
