I think we're safe in the Santa Ynez Valley, but Santa Barbara/Goleta
residents are bracing for a "Sundowner" wind this weekend that, a few years
ago, blew a fire like this all the way to the ocean.  Hundreds of houses
were turned to ash.

(I keep backup hard drives in a bank box.)
