I had to accept a slow recovery, and I had to accept that I could no longer legally fly an airplane, a passion more addictive than photography. And, for the rest of my life, I was compelled to take anticoagulants, which require that my blood INR must be monitored, and the medication level adjusted. Twenty-four years later, I have lived the life that I have been dealt, returned to computers and photography to replace flying, and made the best of the situation. I'm sure that right now it is overwhelming, but you will overcome the limitations and make it work. That's what we have to do! I wish you the best. :-) Jim Nichols Tullahoma, TN USA On 6/9/2017 9:26 PM, Gerry Walden wrote: > I have been taking a very quiet back seat here on the LUG because of > recent health problems, and have spent 4 more unexpected days in hospital > this week being ?observed? whilst they balance medication etc. Worrying > times but hopefully now settling.
