What I'm trying to do is proof that nothing is ever as easy as it ought to be: I've picked up a 35mm Summilux preASPH, a nifty small lens. It comes with a clip on Leica 12504 hood which unscrews into two parts and acts as a holder for a series 7 filter. I read somewhere else that it also will hold a 49mm filter and I found one of those in my stuff box but it vignettes so I'm looking to try a series 7 if I can find one to see if it does the same thing. The quest never ends, does it? Perfection is just one more gadget away..... --Bob On Thu, Mar 30, 2017 at 9:06 PM, Robert Adler <rgacpa at gmail.com> wrote: > Though it's not cheap, Leica makes a step-down ring that will hold an 82mm > filter.
