Hi Jayanand,

I am not Douglas, but I have a lot of experience with Bordeaux wines from
the years I lived in Brussels, 1995-2000. Back then, I would drive to
Bordeaux every year with a couple of other guys, and we would buy from some
of the good chateaux in St. Emilion and Pomerol. Likewise, every November
one of the Belgian supermarket chains had a sale of good wines. Even Latour
and its ilk were relatively affordable?30 or 40 EUR a bottle is not cheap
but not out of reach either.

Since then, prices of Bordeaux wines have risen to such ridiculous levels
that I never buy them anymore. We have lots of good wine here in Spain
which, with a few exceptions, is still priced at reasonable levels.

Cheers,
Nathan
