Prices are sky high. SCSI doesn't bother me, as I have an old SP box with all pertinent connection options available, that ran my two Minolta scanners. Life sucks. We need a Minolta John Hermanson. -----Original Message----- From: Sonny Carter Sent: Wednesday, February 08, 2017 1:35 PM To: Leica Users Group Subject: Re: [Leica] Scanner advice sought I presume you're speaking of the film scanner. Last I heard, Precision had the last of the spare parts. But I read they turned away people needing repair. If I recall, it is a SCSI machine, and that's a difficult connection to make with newer computers. That said, there are a number of Minolta film scanners on Ebay that might be a better deal than trying to fix yours.
