But most mornings it takes the "MAKE-UP CREW!" ;-) About 2 hours to get me ready to face the first cold winds of the day! ;-) cheers, ted :-) -----Original Message----- From: LUG [mailto:lug-bounces+tedgrant=shaw.ca at leica-users.org] On Behalf Of Jim Nichols Sent: October-11-16 4:20 PM To: Leica Users Group Subject: Re: [Leica] IMG: Monarch plus Abstract Hi Ted, I saw a recent photo of you, you're looking good! Thanks, again, for the kind words about my photos. I don't attempt to get perfect shots of the butterflies, with everything staged. I just catch them going about their business. Of course, it helps that I baited the field with a bush that most of them take a fancy to. Recently, I've had good luck using older Leica-R lenses, a 50 Summicron and a 90 Elmarit. They may be from the 70s and 80s, but they still perform very well at a reasonable price. The latest glass is just beyond what I want to invest.
