That's a tragedy. MR is probably my favourite PJ of all time. I preferred 
him to
HCB (personal taste - no flame wars please). His passing brings to a close - 
or
almost - the era of French Humanist photography. There are still one or two 
of
the school aive, but as far as I am aware few still taking photos.

It behoves all LUGgers to look at his work and understand what it means to 
be an
observer of humankind.
