Just don't mention that the ferns are endangered or that the rock is shale oil... :-) I saw your post, and the thread reacting to the moderators' decisions. I don't think the moderators are themselves bigots. They just "don't want no trouble" in "their" sandbox. In their minds, all red-flag issues are equally troublesome, and anyone who creates controversy is a problem. Like the "no excuses" teacher, they punish the kid who was bullied, while the real bully gets off with a reprimand. And then, when their authority and/or fairness is questioned, *that* becomes the real issue for them. It ain't fair, but it's how some people operate. Wise moderators make use of cooling-off periods rather than than banning people. That doesn't seem to be the case there. My advice: Go elsewhere. Your interest seems to be part artistic, part documentary and part consciousness-raising. The latter two don't seem to fit that forum. Their loss. There are more congenial places. --Peter On Thu, Aug 25, 2016 at 6:15 PM, George Lottermoser < george.imagist at icloud.com> wrote: > Sounds like you've got a good start for the "Open Minded Large Format > Photography" Group. > > a note off the iPad, George > > On Aug 25, 2016, at 7:57 PM, Richard Man <richard at richardmanphoto.com> > wrote: > > > Ha ha, no less than six people have been banned now in questioning the > > moderators! > > _______________________________________________ > Leica Users Group. > See http://leica-users.org/mailman/listinfo/lug for more information >
