Film has a certain aesthetic appeal, but I think that is possibly more for the photographer than the viewer. The MM would of course be grain free which would almost certainly give it a great advantage on a larger print and, in my opinion, the tonality of both is comparable which, from the practical point of view, probably give the MM the edge. Having said all of that, I enjoy the pleasure of shooting film but would probably give it up if I could afford an MM - who knows?
