Just shows you again that we fool ourselves into thinking our work will be so much better when we get a new piece of gear. I have a Industar 61 L/D 55mm screw-mount that I sometimes use, just messing around. Those lenses are old technology and very inexpensive, but when I compare results to much more expensive glass I have trouble seeing much improvement with the "better" lenses. It could be I need new eyeglasses. -----Original Message----- >From: Jim Nichols <jhnichols at lighttube.net> >Sent: Jun 14, 2016 1:14 PM >To: "LUG at Leica-Users.org" <lug at leica-users.org>, Olympus Camera >Discussion <olympus at thomasclausen.net> >Subject: [Leica] IMG: From Another Old Lens > >After shooting the DC-3 with the screw-mount Summaron 35mm yesterday, I >was reminded that I had another old screw-mount that I should evaluate. >This is the Steinheil Munchen Culminar 85mm f/2.8.
