Not all of us are ardent supporters of unfettered gun ownership. Unfortunately, the "gun nuts" have a very effective lobbying organization and fund raising arm and can buy off or threaten politicians to do their bidding. Many of us believe there is no rational reason for a private citizen to own a cheap knock off AR15. This is a gun designed for one purpose, to kill things, and it is often used for that purpose. It is plainly obvious that we are no safer as a result of widespread gun ownership and it's time to look at this again.
