Good images, Jim. A mother's dedication is not to be underestimated. When my 
youngest was playing soccer, his mother went from a complete football 
ingenue to a hardened enthusiast becoming completely au fait with even the 
more complex rules, even shouting at the referee when the opposition were 
off side.
