Well Ted,when I was at school Canada was in America, as was the USA and
Brazil.Have they moved?
I NEVER refer to the USA as "America" personally.I travelled all over the
World for my work for 35 years but only went to 5 American countries,
Canada, USA, Mexico, Brazil and Argentina.
My preference has always been of Canada over the USA.cheers,Frank D

Well this is, thankfully, a grain silo at the Port of Montreal not a block
of flats!I have visited Montreal many times, both for the Grands Prix and
because my Mother's sister has lived there since the 1950s so I have close
relatives there. It is my favourite American city, though I am pretty fond of
Vancouver and Rio too...
I am really enjoying your photographs of the city, Jay.
cheers,
Frank D.

In my humble opinion this is a great image Jay. It echoes back in no small
way to the work of some of the iconic American photographers of the 30s and
40s. It also (sadly) reminds me of some of the apartment blocks that are
being erected here in Southampton as student accommodation and labeled with
the rather dubious title of ?architect designed?. Why do real estate people
feel the need to state that? Hopefully it is not likely to be ?train driver
designed?!

I have added it to my Pinterest board in the ?work I admire? section - I
hope you don?t mind.
