I think being able to shoot current Leica monochrome and full color Ms is a big thing; a must. And even if the batteries did not match up a very good thing. I bet a third party battery charger could be set up to charge booth. But how bulky and heavy really is a Leica battery charger? I'm looking at a picture of the Leica BC-SCL2 Battery Charger for BP-SCL2 Li-Ion Battery Right now and it looks pretty small and light to me. And cost a hundred bucks.
