You can see similar tertulias in Alicante, on the Esplanada de Espa?a, a pedestrian street running along the waterfront in the centre. Even the fixed chairs are the same! I love Barcelona, but I must confess that La Rambla is not my favourite place there. Too many tourist traps, too many Russian swindlers, just too tacky. However, one can dive into the side streets and 100 m away there is a different world.
