Hi Jayanand,
Thank you very much for the heads-up. I'll see if I can acquire a loaner
from FUJI-CANADA to give it a try.

I like the magazine photo look. However that isn't any assurance of
anything? It's in the hands and to the eye before one can feel good, bad or
"FORGET IT!"
thanks again!
cheers,
ted OC

It has not been released as yet. B&H expects to have it available on Feb
25th. I am a committed Fuji X system user (4 bodies in the family, as both
my sons use the system as well, with a common pool of lenses), and I am
extremely happy with the offerings, and the lenses are sublime, and do not
break the bank either. The hybrid viewfinder that some of the line up,
including the X-Pro 2, have is a delight to use, and to my mind one of the
main reasons why I am still happily using the X-Pro 1 and X100T. Of course,
like any new digital system, it takes committed time and effort to learn to
use efficiently, both the menu system and controls. They do not function at
all like Leica as far as ergonomics are concerned, so if that is what you
are looking for at a lower price point, don't bother wasting your money,
you will not be happy. My suggestion is to either hire a X-Pro 2, or wangle
a demo piece and check it out before committing to buy.

Fuji India have promised me a demo piece for a few days in end April, so
that is as soon as I can give my impressions of the X-Pro 2.

Cheers
Jayanand
