The X-Pro1 is a superb camera which has a few drawbacks: 1. The inaccuracy of the viewfinder; 2. The fact that I had trouble for some reason getting images through the QC process at Alamy; 3. I lost 80% of its value in the 3 years I owned it; and 4. It is not a Leica. As most of you know I now have a Leica M9 which I am very happy with. This has the following advantages: 1. The viewfinder is very accurate; 2. Every image I have submitted to Alamy from the camera has sailed through QC; 3. I bought it second hand so it shouldn?t lose anywhere near 80% of its value in 3 years; and 4. It is a Leica. Now, the X-Pro2 may have addressed the viewfinder problem, the Alamy problem, the price drop problem but it still won?t be a Leica.
