My conclusion was that they did a very good job of making a classic f/2, lacking aspherics and, ultimately, not being able to get the extreme corners into what we'd expect or like. So, there is still a whole in the lineup for me, but at 2.8 and 1.4 they've nailed the compactness race and ultimate 1.4 performance race. What is missing in most of these tests are good Leica M comparisons to the Sony line, in its various forms.
